Tauranga City Council
We’re carrying out renewal works across Tauranga’s wastewater network, with work scheduled in parts of Tauranga City, Judea and Brookfield
These improvements focus on enhancing safety and stormwater drainage, which include the addition of a new level pedestrian crossing, as well as widening and extending footpaths and shared paths.
We will be inspecting parts of our wastewater network across the city during February-April 2025.
The section of the coastal pathway (Beach Road) will be open to the public from Wednesday, 18 December 2024.
With bike racks full and skateboard storage bursting at the seams, Mount Maunganui College Principal Alastair Sinton is under no illusion as to how important it is to provide safe travel options for his students along Maunganui Road.
