Through our community consultation, we received a range of valuable feedback. The community told us they would like:
- more modern and inclusive play equipment suitable for a range of ages
- better safety features, including improved surfacing
- a refreshed look and feel that brightens the space and invites more use
- seating and social spaces where parents and caregivers can relax.
Using this input, we developed the concept design below.

The playground makeover is scheduled to begin in early March. You may notice temporary fencing and site preparation activity ahead of this date as our contractors get ready for construction. Construction is expected to take 6–8 weeks. The playground will be closed for the duration of the upgrade to ensure everyone’s safety.
We’ll share an opening date once work is underway and timelines are confirmed.
