We’re working to make walking, biking, and scootering easier and safer across the city. As part of this work, we’re building a new section of footpath on Joyce Road.
Why are we doing this?
This work fills a missing gap in the footpath network, providing a safe, accessible route for pedestrians.
The new footpath will connect residents to nearby shops, public transport, and the wider Pyes Pā area, improving everyday access to essential services.
What are we doing?
Building a new section of footpath on Joyce Road between Hanlow Place and St Thomas Avenue.
When is the work taking place?
We plan to do this work in late June, weather dependent, and should take around two weeks to complete.
Traffic management
During construction, temporary traffic management will be in place to support safe movement around the site.
