Haukore Street Reserve

Haukore Street Reserve upgrade

We’re upgrading the playground at Haukore Street Reserve, Hairini transforming it into a safe space for play, fun and connection.

Tell us what you think

We want your ideas to make Haukore Street Reserve better. We listened to what you’ve told us before, and now we’re checking in to see if you’ve got any fresh ideas or thoughts for the reserve and playground.
Tell us what matters most to you. What would make Haukore Street Reserve a place you’re proud of and want to spend time in?

Share your feedback from 1 September 2025

Community open days

Over the coming months, we’ll be working alongside the community to help shape the look and feel of the new space. This means connecting with local tamariki, rangatahi, whānau and mana whenua to make sure the playground and reserve reflects the people who use it.

We’re holding a community day at the Haukore Street Reserve. It’s your opportunity to come along and tell us in person what you wish the playground and reserve had. You’ll also get the chance to vote for your favourite play equipment.

Whether you’re a regular visitor or just dreaming of future fun, we’d love to see you on Saturday 13 September 2pm-4pm.

Construction is planned for 2026, but the design journey is just getting started.
