Haukore Street Reserve

Haukore Street Reserve upgrade

We’re upgrading the playground at Haukore Street Reserve, Hairini transforming it into a safe space for play, fun and connection.

Thanks for your feedback

The consultation for the upgrade to Haukore Street Reserve has now closed.

All the feedback from the community will be taken into consideration as we design the new-look playground and reserve.

Next steps

Over the next few months, we will be working with iwi/hapu and local schools and preschools on preferred concepts and equipment, based on the community feedback to date. We hope to share a final design concept with the community later this year.

Construction is planned for 2026, but the design journey is just getting started.

Watch this space!
