This is a vital upgrade to ensure residents have access to quality drinking water, and to ensure the network can better handle population growth and reduce service disruptions.
Network upgrades will take place on Cambridge Road, between St Andrews Drive and La Colina Place, and are expected to be complete by late 2026, weather permitting.
Work is split into two portions with the first on the southern end of Cambridge Road from mid-March – August. The second portion of work will be completed between August – December closer to the reservoir located at La Colina Place.
Regular water supply to properties will not be impacted during construction.
Road closure and detours
Traffic management, including detours, will be used during this project and resident access will be maintained at all times.
Bus stop closure:
Cambridge Road Stop 1026, near Country Way and used by Baybus route 60 - CBD via Brookfield, will be closed during phase 1 construction. Please use alternate bus stops during this time.
