Tauranga City Council, the Sustainable Business Network and the Bayfair Underpass Alliance have called a public meeting to discuss ways to get the construction of a cycle and pedestrian underpass under the B2B link back on the NZ Transport Agency’s agenda.
Tauranga City Council has today moved to develop a Transport System Network Plan (TSNP), to understand, design and test solutions to some of the city’s key road network problems.
Tauranga City Council will continue to consider two options for a permanent bus facility in the Arataki area: one being on Bayfair owned land and the other on council-owned land on Girven Road.
Tauranga City Council is commencing this year’s Resurfacing Programme, which will cover 60 roads and approximately 20km of road surface.
On Monday 2 September, Tauranga City Council is commencing with the first stage of works on 15th Avenue.
