Free on-street parking on Saturdays and after 5pm on weekdays will return to the city centre next month, in a move to support local businesses while the area’s significant transformation is underway.
Tauranga City Council’s Commission has confirmed the appointment of five board members across Te Manawataki o Te Papa Limited, Tauranga Art Gallery Trust and Bay Venues Limited.

The Tauranga community will soon see the emergence of New Zealand's largest mass timber office building in their city centre, with construction of Tauranga City Council’s future administration building set to begin at 90 Devonport Road next month.
Summer is here and so too is a great opportunity for people of all ages to enjoy a fun-filled range of events in Tauranga’s city centre over the coming months.
