Preliminary work needed for the Pāpāmoa East interchange construction has started.
To keep construction workers, and travellers safe, traffic is currently reduced to one lane in each direction with a temporary speed limit of 50km/h through the work site.
On Monday, 5 September 2022, the flow of traffic will be switched across to the eastbound lanes. The lane switch will occur around midnight to minimise the impact on traffic.
When traveling through the work site, we ask drivers to stick to the 50km/h speed limit and refrain from engine braking. We appreciate the community’s patience with this work.
